Great thanks man - I don't have the inclination, time or spare cash to spend on another account, but hey I'm enjoying the game so far, I'm reading about the changes and am very tempted to instal the sisi download just so I can umm you know - look at the proposed changes and put my opinion to the devs/CSM in the relevant forum.
Maybe I'll come up with a good idea or two or perhaps not.
Important thing is - instead of whining about changes I'll at least try and come up with alternative proposals that achieve the same desired result without nerfing everyone else too much, I suppose that's why it's called ballancing.
CCP as a company have had more than a few screwups regarding customer service and patches and stuff, but still it's the only company I know that will actually post on the forums and give feedback (although the devs have now been gagged to stop rumour and false promises, which sadly is understandable), and still even then they talk to/with their customer base far more than other companies.
I'm waiting for fan-fest as the news will be hitting the site every hour or so, but don't worry if you don't like the proposed changes as they could change before hitting the live server - or they may not be changed in which case you can either whineragequit (in that order) or you can erm what's the phrase... Oh yes Adapt.
Pirates have had to adapt when warp to zero was introduced. Everyone had to adapt when sov mechanics were introduced. Those that did it well probably had logged time in the test server to see what it was all about and then report back to their alliance/corp mates.
A pro-active approach helps far far more than whineragequit posts. I'm not going to cancel my one account subscription for the foreseeable future so if you need to take your twenty alt accounts off line we'll enjoy stackless IO and Eve 64 operations far far better without you. Oh and as an empire dweller I think I speak on behalf of every industrialist but we could do with less merchants hogging the places up too. Pirates and 0.0 keep blowing stuff up and buying from empire pretty please?
